The core values for Genesis Engineering Collaborative are what will help make up our identity, define the culture we envision, and what we will put into practice at our firm. These values are standards that we have established that will guide how we decide, function day to day, solve problems, and handle client relations.
GEC strives to give back to the community, both the engineering community and the communities we live in. We have taken part in local STEM programs at area schools, hosted high school interns from the Gwinnett County QUEST program for in-depth career exploration, volunteered in the Urban Plan program with Urban Land Institute and provided mentoring to high school and college students in the civil engineering field. GEC’s management team is also active in the community through volunteering with organizations like Rainbow Village.
At GEC, our people are our most valued asset. Finding and keeping exceptional talent is critical to our success. We actively work to honor our employees and take care of them, so they can then take care of our clients. Each employee adds great value to our company not only as an individual but as a member of our team. We strive to create an atmosphere for our employees of working for the greater good in both their careers and their personal lives.
Collaboration is a cornerstone of teamwork. GEC’s project execution philosophy has always been TEAMWORK for the greater good of the overall project. Meaning, the client, consultants & contractor are part of the same team looking for the same result… a SUCCESSFUL project. We can only achieve a successful project through team collaboration in the planning, design, and construction of the project. This shows in our work and by the repeat clients and client relationships that GEC has maintained.
